Post by zachjowi »

has anyone ever made a pair of ski blades? I think they would be cool becuase they are quite a bit smaller so they would cost less.

thanks

Ski blades???? NO!

but kid's skis? Yes.

Actually not yet. I should be laying up some sticks for my son next month. I'm trying to sort out my topsheet wants first.

His skis will be about 140cm which is about ski blade length isnt it?

I would think that it would be far easier & probably cheaper to buy some ski blades wouldn't it? Check your thrift stores or your buddies older brother's basement. They won't readily admit it, but someone you know has a pair that they'll give you for cheap or free because they're,,,,, well.... Skiblades.

Best of luck.

I don't know much about bindings so can you explain what tele bindings are. Can they be used with downhill ski boots?

Yes Bambi, they are fun : Image

They are old skiboards "GASPO" with industrial yellow epoxy paint, 3 pins binding and "home made" swallow tail ;-)
