Took me a few years get around to it but I finally got the treefrogskis.com domain name.
I thought I'd better do it while it was still available.
Put together a simple little page for the time being.
(Thought it was better than a coming soon empty page)
Trying to put together a nice page but templates piss me off, and I'm having to rewrite the code to get it to do what I want, so will take a bit.
In the meantime what's there will do.

You don't even have a legit signature, nothing to reveal who you are and what you do...
Best of luck to you. (uneva)

I'm in the same boat as far as bamboo is concerned.
Same with aspen I have to go to Calgary or Lethbridge
As far as base and edges, I've been buying what I can from other members.
Base material comes up from time to time at crown. Just gotta check back often and watch the thickness, as a lot of it is a bit thinner than the step on the edges.
http://www.crownplastics.com/catalog/products_new.php?
I bought a couple gallons of epoxy from QCM before they sold to Forrest.
MBsnow might still have edges in the commercial section.
I'm pretty sure COsurfer has a bit of stuff for sale in the yard sale section.
Try to get a mailing address in Blaine Wash., probably your closest city in the states, will save you a ton on shipping and brokerage.
Or Point Roberts maybe?
A word of advise, don't get too elaborate with your first pair.
Just a basic wood core and basic materials.
Hope this helps.
Good luck with your building.

Thanks Sam,
The info was helpful.
There is a local co. that works out of Victoria Airport. Seawings Express, has an address in Blaine I think...anyway $15 for the first 5 lbs and 45c/lb after that, they fly or drive it to Vic Intl. daily.
If i knew a US flooring dist. maybe we could find a deal on a bunch?
Any thoughts?

Sammer - Congrats on the website!
Cainguy -
I'm also building boards out here on the Island, just outside the Comox Valley. I'd be happy to get you started with some board building supplies. Haven't got any bamboo (though I've been thinking about giving it a try), but I've got lots of other stuff you can pick through. Keep the cost down a little.
What kind of press will you be building?

Hey KS,
Thats an awesome offer thanks. I was just about to put in an order to someone I found in Quebec...I 'll hold off on that
I live in Shawnigan Lake...I'll be heading to Cain on the long weekend to do some lift maintenance...maybe we could hook up on my way through?
I'm thinking of starting with a vacuum setup as I can borrow a pump and such. If things go well I have about half of the steel I need to go pneumatic....just want give it a try before commiting the time/money/space.
