(sold) press in Washington

Post by RAW »

SOLD: Ski / snowboard press 88 x 69 x 43
full on production quality press for custom ski builder
made from 8x8 i beams
opening of press is 76 x 15h x 16 w
you will need to mess with it to get it up and going but the cat track and fire hose is included
also included is the heating element but no controller. You will have to build your own mold.
Reason for selling: I'm in the bindingless pow surfing snowskate biz. I was hoping to add swallow tail snowboards
to my production lineup but biz is slow and I have some bills to pay.
Very lightly used.....i purchased it from a proven ski builder in Portland so it is a legit press.
So here it is...... a chance to get your hands on a press!
For an extra, reasonable fee, I can deliever it west of the rocky mountains.

design and build your own powder skis custom snowboards swallowtail splitboard .....the possibilities are endless.
$1500.......
Location: Port Townsend
it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

Twizz, do you already have dual heat? I'd be interested in just the heat element depending on wattage and voltage.

I only have one heat blanket, and its only wide enough for one ski. If I were to buy this press, I'd be keeping the heat blanket. The OP sent me a picture, but I haven't heard back in a couple of days.

This was originally Hydrant71's Press (jason). We bought it but never ended up using it (was a bit small for our longer skis) so sold it and just built our own.

Not sure what it still has but this is what it looks like when set up:

I'm interested in the press. I'm having a little trouble getting a PM to send to you. I have a few questions:

Can you tell me more about the heating element? Do you have the blanket? Do you think there are any other components missing besides the controller? Have you used heat with this press?

Thanks.
