New Hampshire Ski Builder?

For my senior year in high school, I am required to do a year long project on a topic of my choice. I was hoping that I could build my own pair of skis but I would need an expert or someone with any experience preferably in the New Hampshire or Massachusetts area. Please message if you can help.
