i tried band saw and jig saw. both blades quit their job pretty fast when hitting the glass. jig saw blades for wood didn t even last for about 40cm. band saw was done after half of the ski.

i tried now small jig saw blades that have two rows of teeth, one facing downwords the other facing upwards. i m able to cut one ski with one blade, but then it s done. are there any specific blades?

what do you use and suggest?

this has been talked about in another thread. but i use a 6-10 tooth 80in blade on a band saw. the key is you need to slow down the blade, if you have a variable speed band saw this is really easy but if not...hit up grainger or mcmaster and order smaller pully for the drive on the motor and an equally larger pully for the drive on the blade

i have done 6 skis and cut out 25 sidewall peices with the blade on my saw right now with no signs of letting up
