Mountains to climb - All the ski gear has to go
Posted: Wed Dec 07, 2011 1:32 pm
Unfortunately, my time has come to get out of the ski building game. There are too many mountains for me to climb and not enough time to put into building my own gear. I intended to finish a couple of skis over the last year, but the materials continue to just sit in my garage (some things unopened). Everything needs to go from this collection - please take a look at the materials below and make me a fair offer on all of it. I can ship most of the material for pretty cheap, except the steel enclosure - that's obviously for local pick-up only.
Prices below is what I estimate they are worth - if you feel differently, please make me an offer. If you want to buy a lot of it and bundle it all together, I'll reduce the price as well. If you live near Denver, please send me a message to check it all out in person. Paypal or local pickup with cash will be best for me.
Triaxial Fiberglass Cloth - 2 pieces @ 8"x72" - $8
Triaxial Fiberglass Cloth - 40"x144" - $40
Clear Topsheet - 7"x72" - $5
Clear Topsheet - 13"x72" - $10
Clear Topsheet - 20"x88" - $20
Base Material 4001 (black) - 7"x72" - $10
Base Material 4001 (black) - 13"x88" - $20
Tip/Tail Spacer - 2 pieces @ 6"x6" - $2
Tip/Tail Spacer - 12"x12" - $4
Rubber Foil (VDS) - 8 meters x 2" wide - $12
Edges - 6 pieces @ 80" - $15
I had some trouble with the firehose, so it's a little gunked up. I can cut the "used" part off or send it as is and you can decide what to do.
Fire Hose - 6" Layflat - 82" gunkless, 97" full+ cut holes through ends, holes are 2" from tail and 6" from tip -- $50
Fire Hose - 6" Layflat - 82" gunkless, 92" full+ cut holes through ends, holes are 8" from tip (no holes near tail) -- $50
Steel Enclosure - built from 1/8" width, 2"x2" steel square tubing
External Dimesions: 18" wide x 16" tall x 78" long
Internal Dimensions: 13.5" wide x 8" tall x 78" long
I estimate that the cost of material for the enclosure was about $350 - I'd seel it for $250 if you can come pick it up in the Denver/Fort Collins area.
Please send me a message if you are interested in anything! Thanks!
