Has anyone worked with colored fiberglass because I'm thinking about using it under my topsheet. Any bonding problems? discoloration?

Thanks ya'll!

I used black fiberglass from swiss-composites.ch.

Everything fine so far.

Silver fiberglass aka Texalium can be a problem if it gets in contact with water. Then it will look really ugly after some time.

Some how this web site thinks I'm a spammer and won't let me post the link due to the lack of posts I've left on here so I'll just explain how to get there.

Raka inc web site, go to fiberglass cloth, click fiberglass cloth again and it will be at the bottom of that page. Black dyed fiberglass. 7oz and 9oz.

not sure 7oz or 9 oz glass would be heavy enough for ski building applications unless you either want really soft skis or are building skis for little kids.

I was just thinking of putting it over the 22 oz just for show.

You could also use a resin tint or pigment. Haven't used one myself yet, but I plan to sometime in the future. Tint can be found on the foamez website. (I'm a new user, so I can't post links yet.)
