how much graphite in the base?

Post by mattman »

When you get crown's 4001 black base, its suppose to be faster due to graphite in the sintering mix. Makes sense. Anyone know how much graphite this is?
I am trying to mimic the slippery properties of p-tex by loading a castable urethane with graphite powder and maybe some other fillers...but am not sure how much fill is too much.

I doubt anyone will have that info. As with everything on this forum give it a try and see how it performs. Adjust as needed. I think you have a great idea. Keep us posted.

call a rubber company like smooth on or something. This is a good idea maybe, it may make it really hard or soft or never set or something else.
