A bit of help for a competition I'm in if you don't mind

Post by falls »

Hi Everyone
I have made a short film to enter an online Australian snowsports video contest. The film has some footage I have posted before, but also a vague dodgy storyline of conceiving and building some powder skis.
The contest is won by the person who gets the most facebook "likes" for their video. So I'll put the link below and if you want to watch it feel free, if you are logged into facebook you can hit the "like button" next to the video (and the like button next to SoO Airtime - the promoters - if you want to be in the running to win the voter's price).
Hope you like it
Sorry to the FOG crew on here about the facebook thing!

There are some other videos on their too that you can have a watch and see what we get up to down here in our winter.

The two "like" buttons you need to hit are on the bottom right of the picture above (they are grey in this picture because I have already hit like)
This is a very democratic competition, almost as democratic as a 3rd world election I would feel!

Thanks CO
Ironically I think the prize may be a pair of skis!
Hopefully some outerwear or goggles etc.
And i can always sell a pair of skis and reinvest too!

I added an "idiot's guide" to my above post before I realised you were joking! I should have known that surely anyone who can build skis can work facebook!

Thanks - I am going pretty well so far, i think just trailing a film about telemarking (so whether that make you want to vote more or vote less I'm sure depends on the freedom of your heels!)

I shot it all on my GoPro HD hero at 720p (it can do 1080p as well). Pretty good little camera - HD video, timelapses, good mounts, durable (as you can see when it falls off my ski towards the end!). Only thing is it's not that aerodynamic so you look like you have a box on your head (becasue you do), kind of like the volvo of the helmet cam world.

bump
if anyone with facebook has a minute to help me out with this competition I'd be really grateful. I'm in second place but about 100 votes behind.
Voting ends on sept 30th
Thanks
