Faction skis - also madein Poland (Nobile factory).
I don't get one thing - he says that ski is made from balsa but they added some fiber to reinforce ski. He shows a blank core so the reinforcment is in the process of making core itself. I wonder what that is...Anyone?
I also spoke year ago with one of the owners, here in Poland and he said that the cores are made from balsa and PET (same as bottles) - maybe that goes to those holes under bingings? Is that to reinforce mounting places as the balsa would not give good support for binding screws?

what the heck did he do at 1:10? thats new. I also like how he hangs them after splitting them, not sure why he was pounding the screwdriver in the flashing?

Base die cut at 1:10, tough to do with pressure that low.

I think from memory he was cracking away excess epoxy so the clamps will fit on (throat depth of the clamp). edit: No thats when he hits it with the mallet.
I think the screwdriver is helping free the skis from the metal upright pins on the cassette that help with allignment.
