Isn't a gram(g) a gram in NA?
(My guess is that he means Kg
otherwise it's not enough for the binding holes)

Nope, it's grams (g) not gallons (G).
I've started making fingerboard snowboards. This shit is hot, people. Nothing says "craftsmanship" like bending and gluing a 3cm long edge.
