I'm a little confused, priced per yard, foot, piece?
Shipping weight 2lbs?

Quality ski materials. New start-up. Lindsay?
Vds $5/meter is a pretty good price.

I wish them luck!
We can always use more options when it comes to materials.

I'd say per metre cause the vds is per metre and $10 per metre is about the going rate for reselling. That wide vds for $5 a metre is pretty good. [/code]

If any regular contributors want vds, then feel free to give me a shout. I'm happy to sell some of what I have at cost if you are running short. E-mail for details. Postal charges: http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/c ... d=19100242

I'm glad we have another source for these unique materials.

The lack of information/dimensions needs a little work if they want to sell anything...

Sidewall material for example. Here's a picture of some UHMWPE with a tape measure. *slow clap*

Width? Length? Thickness?

Twizz, I agree, the website could use some more useful info. I decided to try the website anyway and ordered ptex, 22oz triax and vds, enough for 4 skis. Materials came to $188 +/-. The shipping was $107.80!! I cancelled the order. Shipping was standard shipping, not overnight.

I went through the order process at SB's store for the same amount of materials. Price was more ($267 +/-) but shipping was only $30.59.

In the end it's only a few bucks difference. Bummer.

Too bad the shipping is so pricey. More options for ordering is always a good thing. I'm going to really have to sit down and figure out the best options for materials. it might be worth making several orders from SB store SBM store and from this new amazon store.

For me, Amazon is safer to buy than ebay.
