Rocker and Tip

Starting my first pair of rocker skis for a buddy and am looking for some help. He wants something like the ON3P Wrenegades but there aren't any at hand that I can go look at. So, wondering if I should use a flatter, more ramp like rocker, or more of a curve that blends into the tip? And, either way, what kind of radii are typical? The rocker in the Wrenegades is 1.5cm over 15cm. Thanks, Scott

from here.

Tip/tail radius (cm) Tip and tail radius refers to the curvature of the tips and tails. Tips and tails tend to have radii ranging 15-20cm. Although not as important as other parameters, the curvatures can enhance the float of a ski in soft snow. By reducing the curvature and increasing the tip length, a ski can increase its surface area to improve tip buoyancy in powder. The running length is not affected, however, and the ski maintains its original maneuverability. This same concept can be reversed for the rear to allow the tail to sink more in powder.

Thanks Carlito. I used a 22cm radius on my second and third pair which seems to work well. In any case, I'm wondering if you extend the radii for rockered tips, and if so, how much; also, what kind of curve/radius I should use for the rocker. Scott

I think perhaps you have some reading comp problems you may want to address before other details.
