After being frustrated over my first delam. I decided to develop a method, which I like to share, to repair such a damage. I have develop a special glue, "Ape glue" for the purpose. A mix of epoxi and other secret ingredients. I will reveal if someone is interested. First I have to tell that you should be in possession of a vacuum pump. Otherwise this method* won't work.

Drill a couple of holes in the top sheet.

Use silicone to seal for the connector....

Apply it..

Connect the pump and start.

Now, leave the set up**

Hope this was informative.

I see what you did there ;)

Somebody was actually just telling me about ape glue a few days ago, I had never heard of it. I tried mixing some up yesterday but it didn't work, it just stayed blue goo. I got frustrated and tried to make it again today, and somehow it worked today? Weird.

I could never be trusted with those vacuum attachments, or a milking machine. I would have those stuck all over me, with Ape Glue.

Ape glue, am I way off base here? :D

I might just stick mine in the fridge to preserve it for a year. Hopefully my skis hold out until then.

(Keep stewing over it Steve, it'll click and you'll kick yourself)

Well I search the hell out of the internet looking for Ape glue and came empty. However, milk glue got me quite a few hits :) . That stuff really works? Now you know I'm gonna have to try it. Maybe I'll try a sample lay up and include it my tests ;)
