no offense! to each his own
they looked like some of the older plastic low end flow bindings...those sucked. never tried the ones you have.
have you ever tried bindings with the fastec system? same easy entry but imho better feel for the board.
Yeah, that's why I love them so much. That's it. I can't believe I didn't see that sooner. Thanks DBS, for pointing that out. Excellent info there. Glad that's solved. I was thinking contrabands sucked...
something about specifics/style slips my mind. Last I checked, these were lightning fast, rigid carbon fiber free-ride quick in/out and don't sweat me on traverses. But hey. They suck. Sack of suck. Suck salad. Are you and MM related?
I'm done posting here. Good luck to all of you that know everything
What Flow bindings give is, indisputably, ease-of-use. It doesn't matter how hard the materials you make them from are, you'll never end up with a truly stiff binding - the design won't allow it. That doesn't make them suck, but it doesn't make them stiff, either.
If you want *rigid* freeride bindings, you want Cateks (preferably adapted with a third strap), or a brand spanking new pair of clickers with boots to match.
That's not my up of tea, though; I ride hardboots and find *them* too floppy, despite having what most people consider "too rigid" AF700s. Softboots don't flex properly, and usually give you zero protection from Achilles overextension; I've spent too long limping after hard landings in softies to ever go back.
