I would like the core wood to show through and therefore I would like a completely clear plastic topsheet material. Ideally it should be no thicker than 1mm.
I live in the UK and am struggling to find an appropriate material.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Jack

Order it from the skibuilders store in the USA
Or from board building supplies in Europe http://www.boardbuildingsupply.eu/produ ... ucts_id=35
I have some in Australia I can sell you for the same price, but will have to add shipping.

Ok nice,
I will have to pay quite a bit of postage if I order from board building supplier in europe.
Do you know of any suppliers in the UK?
I have searched for duraclear sheet all over the web and I cant find anything about it. I thought that maybe you could buy it for other applications and therefore it would be easy to come buy

The duraclear is ski specific
Board building supplies, skibuilders, snowboard materials in the USA, a guy in spain are the only places you can buy this material in small volumes.
Welcome to the joy of small time ski building material supplies!
You could buy UHMWPE plastic from any plastic supplier, but it will not have been abraded or flame treated and won't bond.
