Thanks for the help! The skis are 174 cm. 143-110-131, with approx 3mm camber underfoot. Lay-up is Base,VDS, 22oz. FG, Core, 22oz. FG, TS. The core is Poplar, with Maple stringers (for inserts) Sidewalls are Purple Heart, and Brazilian Walnut. Graphics printed on PBT by Coda. I have been out only 6 days on them, they seem to be really nice. They are very similar to many pair that i have been skiing for 3 or 4 years. The big change is the Rocker tip, and the early rise tail. The tip is Rockered @ 38mm, while the early rise tail is @ 26mm. I think I will do a more straight tail in the future. I feel like I am fighting to stay out of the backseat a little. I will try to get some more photos, not having much luck with that part!!! Cheers KT

Re: anvil skis
It just goes to GoDaddy. You own the domain, but nothing on there. ?Anvil wrote:I actually own the website too. Anvilskis.com.

These are the latest skis for my wife. 156cm, 143-112-131 Poplar, Maple, Alder core all wood was recycled from a local cabinet builder, so that was free 99!! The ski has an early rise @ 28mm with a small radius tail, 3 to 4 mm camber underfoot. The sidewalls are Brazialian Walnut and Purple Heart. Core dimensions are .355 at the center, and .080 at the ends, linier taper (You can do the conversion:) Mounted Tele with inserts. Topsheet by Coda. Oh, and it is snowing about 3 to4 inches an hour, expected to get 6 to 10 feet in the next 4 days. How bad is that!! Thanks for all the help out there, xxxooo to db.
Nice skis, I think the fact you actually have an anvil must count for something!
The snowfall accumulation sounds like it is going off - you must be in California (?)
Whats the go with the "free 99" - must be an american thing - I've seen it a few times lately but dont really get it.

Don't wait up, I'm off to kill Summer....
really nice looking skis. I like the idea of using cut offs from the cabinet maker. There's a couple guys around me that make furniture and cabinets. I might have to contact them about some cutoffs.
I just bought some maple and poplar for 4 cores yesterday.
