Vellum

Anyone try using vellum paper ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vellum ) as a top sheet with graphics? I did a couple of experiments the other night w/ graphics on rice paper, vellum and plain white paper. The rice paper looked the most transparent out of the 3. I used poly as the "glue". I used poly just to see how it would look on each type of paper. The rice paper and plain paper stuck well. The vellum sticks but can peel off easily. It's turn almost as translucent ans the rice paper.
I should be laying up skis this week. I'll test a piece of vellum paper w/ graphics using epoxy and post results. I'm wondering if vellum would work as a top sheet also. It's thicker than paper and more durable and has a slight plastic feel to it.
