Im thinking about trying a different type of epoxy on my skis and thought id ask you guys about it. Its called resin-x and is often used for sailboat masts and surfboard construction. Its really hard but flexes almost in half when cured on fiberglass. I have used it in some of my surfboards and it is really nice and hard, flexes way better than resin reasearch and poly stuff I have used, is good with cfc's and ect..., and has really good response.
Ive never messed with ski epoxy so I guess im asking if this stuff would be applicable.

Is it epoxy? Is it polyester?

You can experiment if you want, but keep in mind that many years of R&D have already been done for you by the pros, so you know if you use what they use it'll work (i.e. QCM compression molding epoxy)
