Help with vacuum pump

Post by PowderKing »

Today I got my vac pump. It looks great but there is one problem. The hose fitting is 1/8' and it should be 1/4'. Does somebody now a solution for my problem. Something like a converter or something like that.

Thanks,
Mickey

The home depot in my area has all kinds of brass fittings that work just fine for this. I think they are called flared fittings. I know they have a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter (female to male).

That should be the least of your problems. :) But I know, it sometimes can be hard to find the most obviously parts. It differs between US and Europe what you can find in the regular consumer shops. Do you have "Bauhaus" or "Hornbach" in Schweiz? Look there.
