Has enyone tried making cap design skis? The only way I can think of is to make a mould which would press all the fibergalss down along the sidewalls. Of course using the bladder type press. Any ideas?

you should use a vacuum press if you can...you can also pre-fab a molded top sheet by making a relief template and pressing the topsheet around it, then you will already have your "cap"
