This is a pretty old post. I remember when this press was built and I think it worked ok. Not sure if the corduroy stretched when the hose was pressurized. I’d be careful pressurizing, do some dry runs to make sure it’s ok before making skis. If you get to 25-30 psi and you have good matching top and bottom forms you should be good to go. If you can get more pressure safely go for it.

I had one of those fabric sleeve presses with sleeves made by montucky madman (thank you!). Pressing with the sleeves worked very well, but it was a pain to get the sleeves onto the press. Maybe if you cover the press in some low friction plastic material it would work better.

I tested a single 6 inch hose to 70 psi. Others pressed 2 and 3 bladder systems. No issues.
Yes the nylon stretches a bit but in the elasticity is where the strength is derived.
