These pictures are taken by an old (end of the sixties) ski encyclopedia:

This drawing was made by Francesco Negri, in 1663, during his journey to Scandinavia. They have reverse camber and reverse sidecut…

These are 5000 years old: wood frame and skin.

These are from China. The tail is the widest part; if I remember well bigKam wanted to make something like that.


In the Ski Museum in Oslo I saw some wood skis, made around 1900, with a Salomon ProLink wood bar...
