So I contacted CDW and asking how much they charge for their edges. I talked to Mark there and he said that the minimum order they make is a 500 pound spool and they charge $425 a pound. Thats $212,500! For some reason I find that hard to believe that they only do that size of order. I forgot to ask how many meters that was but thats rediculous. Has anyone ordered from them before?

You must have something wrong, because for $425 I can get 130 edges from skibuilders. I guarantee that that many edges weighs more then a pound....

Maybe they're doing what we do at our company...if we don't want to deal with you we'll quote the part so ridiculously high that you'll never buy it.

He said "Four Hundred" so either he made a mistake or like you said, could tell I was younger and didn't want to deal with me. I figured I would call back and talk to someone else.

I think a 500 pound spool would be approximately 4500 meters. $425 a pound sounds way too expensive. Think last time I asked it was about €700 per 100kg her in Europe. So 4.25 a pound is more realistic.

he probably said 425 for the entire spool.

They wanted $5.00 per full wrap prebent edge, 30edge minimum order, i supply my own template.

They charge like $2.90 or something like that per un bent edge 180cm long
