can you epoxy the tip spacers to the wood before you put it into the mold so it holds it togeather throught the whole process?

i put tabs of epoxy onto my tipspacers and it works well. i try not to put too much epoxy though. just enough to hold them in place.

I had the same problem and simply attached the tipspacers with a short rubber strip (the same as laminated above the edge) and super glue.
