durable top sheet for vaccum

Post by sir.orange »

i took my first ski today out of the vacuum bag after curing for 16hrs.
problem: i printed my graphics on "jet tex" a sythetic fabric that bonded well with epoxies on test runs.
near the edge, where all the layers meet it s still a soft fabric. now i removed some of the jet tex and put another layer of glass to cap all layers including the jet tex.
to avoid this mess i m looking for topsheets that are durable (printable) and could be attached in the lay up via vacuum bagging as i have no access to a press?
does anybody have experiences with the popular materials like pbt p-tex duraclear???
thx ha
