No sidecut ski?

Seems like this is an idea which has lost it appeal, but after trying out some 195 atomic arcs, I think they might be the powder ski weapon of choice (not the ARCS!) A 120 waist ~190 ski with early rise would ski great? Or am I way off base here?

Ask this guy:

The cosmetics are not very good, but i think the idea has potential...

Will it be better than rev/rev in pow? Don´t really think so.

Will it be better than rev/rev on groomed? Probably, but who cares.

But it´s an interesting concept, and should be pretty easy to build too.

The skibuilder Carpathian has built a whole bunch of these skis it sounds like. That might be who is building the skis in the link above posted by Svimen.

My brother and I also built a pair as our first pair of skis. The cores came out way too thick and the skis are very heavy and stiff because of this. The skis we built were "wild and unpredictable". We both have a pair of reverse camber/reverse sidecut - 195cm Praxis skis that we absolutely love. I think I would much rather have another pair of rev/rev skis then the zero/zero's we built.

If you want to see what we built take a look at the following:
