I am just looking for some pics and descriptions on how others have gone about incorporating there heat blankets in to the molds, especially adjustable molds.

I just finished wiring my upper and lower heat blankets and now I am moving on to the molds. I have my thoughts but, I am just curious how everyone else has done it and if you would do things differently the second time around.

Thanks for any help.

I used a cat track on the bottom as well as on the top (it's a press) and my heat blanket goes under (yes, under) the bottom cat-track and conducts up into the board. Works fine and does a 1hr cure cycle. The cat track means my adjustable mould still works !

we put the heat blanket on top of the steel surface of the bottom mold and then just lay the "cassette" right over it.

you have to take care doing this and we pad all around the edges of the steel and cassettes with all kinds of stuff. This, after destroying a 1000dollar heat blanket ;)
