how about using a vinyl cutter to cut base material? or at least make an accurate cutting line? just an idea. i don't think their would be enough pressure on the blade to cut, but i was curious what others think.

My brother has a vinyl cutter, and there is no way will it cut anything near the thickness as base.
Its good for cutting masks for painting graphics though.
