Ski Builders Forum

I know that there are places that will print your design on topsheet material and send it to you. I appreciate the convienience of this, but it sort of goes agains the anti-practical, anti-economical nature of ski building. My dad has an old dye sub printer that I may be able to tear apart. Would I be able to run topsheet material through there? could I make a custom paper size for my topsheets and go from there? has anyone done this?
Any help would be appreciated
