carbon or no carbon

hooray for taking my first ski out of the press! Everything went well, and aligned properly. The only problem is it seems to be a little too flexible than I thought it would be. I was thinking of laminating a 2" wide strip of carbon lengthwise on the ski. The top is black anyway so the graphics wouldn't be messed. Any suggestions? I just want to stiffen the ski a little.
