September is an excellent month for skiing:

Kelvin was tied up this past weekend putting down a new roof, but Drew and Cass were up for a quick trip. The three of us arrived at the Paradise parking lot just before 10:30am and found it completely full. Instead, we continued beyond the parking lot and parked at the trailhead below Mazama ridge. From there we hiked on the trail for a few miles, then went off-road. We scrambled over some rolls, crossed a couple streams from glacier runoff, banked a few corners, tromped on scree, finally arrving at the spot. The weather was beautiful. We hopped from patch to patch, farming the thin layer of pink-corn. I brought along my Recyled Project Pallets, and they worked beautifully. Cass and Drew were on manufactured skis.

September turns in the bag. Can't wait until October....

Do turns off snow count for towards TAYs? That bottomless scree looks pretty inviting too. Vibration dampening might be a concern though.
