I have been searching thru the posts for this answer, and I have not come up with anything that I can act on. So I wonder if anyone could help me out?

-Do you align the peak of the camber with the center of the running length, center of boot or the ball of foot?

I want to say it's the center of boot but I would like to get some feed back before I go buying the MDF and slicing it up to fit an adjustable bottom mold in my press.

Because of limited press cavity length I may have to go with individual bottom molds for different ski lengths. Having the highest point of the bottom mold shifted from the center of the press.

I think your question is: Is the camber circular or not. (Where the highest point of your camber mold is would not make any difference) some skis have circular camber, some don't.

I would recommend to make it as crcular as possible, (and then add some rocker)

Yes it is circular along the whole running length

Approximately the peak of the camber is the same as the waist of the sidecut. This used to be the case of all oldschool skis. Most parabolic skis follow this rule. Some park specific and powder only skis have their own ideas on this one.

I find that the peak of the camber and the waist of the sidecut also coincide with the ball of my foot (alpine mounted) as I've designed them.
