It looks like you have an electric heater. You need a thermocouple (type J will work) to help control your heater. Heaters like yours often have a thermocouple in them. Look for wires. It looks like you already have a controller. You should be fine. The heater may not be long enough to fit under/over your entire ski. This could be a problem.
