top skin

Hi all. l have a pair of scotbobs which are ok except the top sheat is all cut up can l replace it? :D

hey jeff, i would first ask the scottybob guys if they have any recommendations. they seem to be nice guys so i'm sure they can help you out.

but if that doesn't work i think it would be possible to sand down the topsheet layer to roughen it out. then get a new topsheet and laminate it to the ski with some epoxy. the only problem i see is that if you don't have a press or some way of pushing down evenly on the ski you may get some ugly bubbles and maybe some nasty results.

i used to paint my own topsheets when they got all destroyed. it's how i got started on this whole skibuilding path.
