If i really knew what was happening i would know how to make a base high ski but i dont. I can get them flat and concave but not convex. Your a step ahead delam.
Mine are always convex. My gut feeling is that it depends on the pressing method. Since I use vacuum I believe that I don't squeeze out as much epoxy as with more pressure...maybe?
I make rabbets in core.
