yea solid works is really all about getting your own style of modeling going there isnt really a right way and a wrong way to do it.

i only mean that with splines you cannot put a dimmension on the radius and adjust it that way. also as you get into more complicated models which have other entities linked to the splines if you manually adjust the spline the model goes all haywire.

if you are going to keep that 44 line i would check the box that says for construction. or add points on the center line. it will through off you model if you try to extrude it

SHIF nice method! I designing a ski in solidworks, but now I'm trying to make a cambered core flat to get a thickness profile for manufacturing. I tried using the flex command to get the ski flat again, but had little luck. Any thoughts?
