Yes, for a kiteboard it is hopefully a match. As I know kiteboard industry is using 30secs pot life PU to eliminate air bubbles.
Either way, making a pre made sidewall is a go for me:

A peace of warning:
the HDPE mold is distorting with a heat. Not only that, when HDPE is machined like this mold was, it will bend and distort.
The solution for this might be to secure your HDPE mold with a metal rods or something or make a mold of aluminium. Wood is no good as well coz of the heat when curing a PU.

I've made some calls and there is a product from Smooth On called TASK12
And that has got 350% ELONGATION break, viscosity as engine oil, works well with pigments. Pricey. ~AU$100/kg
They claim :"Virtually indestructible - highest impact resistance".

Except i uave no idea how this does at cold temps. Prolly not so good.
