Beautiful. I like the white sidewalls and tip spacers.. I might have to get some different colored sidewall this year.

Cheers vin.
Heres another one. 170cm, 125 edge, 30 nose, 15 tail, 8m sidecut.
100% bamboo core, a bit of carbon tape in there too, super thin and heaps of pop.
3.5kg and it still has the protective sticker on the base so it will come down a bit after the grind.

Is 8m turn radius a short one or a long one for a snowboard? I'm used to looking at ski turn radii and that would be really short for a set of skis.

is it because skis have two edges to turn on and snowboards only have one?

8m is about standard. I played around with long radii and found them to be too slow turning, especially heel side so I prefer a shorter radius now.

Ok this is something different.
160cm long, 140cm effective edge, 10cm nose and 10cm tail.
Sidecut is both asymetrical and multi radii starting on the heel side front (top left) its 8m-10m and toe side is 10m-12m.
It is pressed in my usual mould with a long drawn out powder nose that extends well back into the effective edge.
Bamboo/paulownia core with some 0degree carbon.

It should float like my normal boards do but when on edge it will be much better than a more regular length sidecut.

Bending the edges for this one must have been a serious PITA. ;) Great work as usual!

Actually they were pretty easy. I dont have any trouble bending edges these days. My heavy duty bender makes very light work of it and bending 2 at a time makes it pretty fast.

I made myself a die today for adding a logo to the sintered base material. Its just 304ss exhaust tube with a sharpened edge. Couple of hits with the hammer and the job is done.
Its only a simple design but it works imo.

That die for the logo... how cool is that?! Very nicely done! That's by far the best DIY die I've seen anyone on here make. Looks like the results are great too!

Cheers twiz. Im going to get creative and make some more dies.
Its really easy if you can weld and the edge doesnt really need to be that sharp.
