Gluing edges to base

i tack glue on just the rails at first. teeth up base down, i go about every 4-5 teeth, and stop about the width of my hand before the inflection point of where the tip curve starts.

I flip the whole thing over, edges are already "pre bent", so while it's upside down i use my "edge bending tool", which is a ground down version of those nippers that people are starting to use. I bend the edge this way and that until it's a near exact match. Exact is POSSIBLE, but takes HOURS. Anyway its really damn close. Then i flip it back over, cut the excess off each side and tack on... doing it this method i get it pretty damn close. I dont like doing it fully upside down as i've experienced lumpy bases this way and also glueing the thing to the darn table this way, its alot easier to control teeth up.
