Vacuum will pull your core into a long sweeping radius just fine.
It's the tight radius of a traditional tip that's a little harder to pull off.
Your core may bridge your mold a bit, but will still sit down at the waist.
I would still use tip spacer from the end of your edges (assuming 3/4)
Full wrap edges may need to be prebent to lay flat in your mold.

how long is this tipspacer? I was thinking about using a tispacer with no core inserts but i am afraid to lose "structure".
Would an abs tipspacer of, say, 10", make the tip too weak?
