i just had a phone call with the company that build my pid controller.
as mentioned i have 2 connections for load that are simultaneous switched on/off by the controller. i was thinking of adjusting the amperage for each load different - quit this, because the relais and controller coulnd t handle it.
now, i d like to keep things as they are, but i need to limit the amperage thats coming in from power supply (germany: 230v 16A maximum)
my calculations resulted a need of maximum 1A amperage. if more the mats will get too hot. i need between 0,5A and 1A.
How do i limit the power supply to 1A amperage? the resistances i found wouldn t resist the 1000W demand of the heating mats?
