0.5mm more than the thickness - but doesn't this decrease the pressure applied to the edge set?
have you ever done small sample tests with plastic and wood and glass at 50psi? I know you have. That shit is completly pressed togather. Plastic straight on wood actually preses into wood like poplar and maple.
I think the gap is eliminated.
