The veneer I used was from these guys.

It really is nice and when I said it curled it is not much but it would hard to manage it all at the same time with the base and holes for insert, topsheet etc etc.

Not only you have done some research. Are you claiming that this:

is just a bullshit and that they are actualy using another construction then they advertise? Why would line do that?

Also could you please expleain me what is ment that only the top vaneer is tapered?
