The cold has arrived and on driving home last night we got sleet on the windscreen. Snow in the foot hills and this is very rare for Napier where we live. (2 and half hours from mountain).
The issue with the veneer is around the tip and tail and probably related to not enough resin.
Next pair will be cap construction as I think I have nailed the issue of the core moving in the press with the dowels glued to the base.
