I went with 2.5 in the tip and 3 at the tail. Pics should be up in the journal section.

Thanks... saw the other thread after I posted above. Skis look great. Will be anxious to see how you like the way they ski.

I contacted REI about doing the base grind and they have packaged the machine for the season. Bummer. Any ideas on a base grind alternative? If not, I will finish with the bevel and seal them up and head out next week without the tune. What products are recommended for the seal? Ihave heard of the "spar varnish" or varathane, but don't know much about either of these materials. Also do you know anybody in Tahoe with the equipment still set up?
