we have a slip roll built almost exactly like that.
It got too hard to crank, we removed the handle and rigged up a strong cordless drill, holy crap!

Still, you have to have a hand tool handy when putting the edge on base... the slip roll takes way too much time if you're trying to use it to match your tip curves, it's just great for a quick and dirty "pre bend".

We have a pair of cutters/snips that we ground a small radius into. Use it one way to bend edge in, turn it around to bend out. Very easy, still time consuming no matter what you do. Next step is cnc bending.

Ha ha! Clever! Are you using a "Kuzminsickel"? If not, Google it. Very interesting.

Now I am curious. Are you saying they are faster without wax? I assume you did not win... :D Stenmark on unwaxed skis?

Thanks!
I built them for my 2 year old son. They are 90 cm, twin tip, about 90,65,90 and the core profile is something like 2-6-2 mm.

Had some carbon left overs and I had to make something of it. This time a pair of race skis :D I put a clear top sheet over the carbon and this is what it looks like fresh baked with the protective film still on.
