I read somewhere in here that graphics could be printed to rice paper and laminated under the top sheet.
I have some rice paper on a roll.
I would like to print a graphic the entire length of the ski.
What kind of printer should I use?
What kind of ink do I need to use to make sure the printing withstands the epoxy?
THANKS,
BD

Big Dan,
I have done rice paper before. Works good for a cheap (inexpensive) graphic. I use a HP deskjet 930c. But I'm sure that the better the printer the better the quality. I have only done this on sheet rice paper.
Good luck,

did you do it over the full length of the board?
Usually it's used under surfboards as simple logos, but i've never seen anyone use it as a full layer, i wonder how it holds up.

most advanced printers have an option somewhere in the menu to change the paper feed from sheets to a roll. This should allow for a full length graphic print. You just have to set your margins to zero.
