Looking to Buy: Edge Bender...

Im looking to buy an edge bender.

Anyone relativly close to Sweden have one for sale?

Hey Tex,
Go to an automotive store and buy a break line bender. Take a hack saw blade and cut a groove in the center wheel. This groove will align the teeth of the edge and bend away! This is how I made mine and it works great. If you need pics let me know and I should be able to get some out to you tonight or in the AM.

Here are pics of the edge bender. All this is, is a tubing bender that was purchased at the local auto parts store (I think it was Kragen). It is made to bend break lines and fuel lines in automobiles.
First one is a side view of the bender.

Here you can see the groove I cut in the center wheel to hold the teeth of the edges.

Here is the side view with the edge in place and ready to bend.

Last is the side view with the edge in place.

I know it probably does not need mentioning but I will anyway. When you are bending, you have to keep repositioning the edge (moving it) as you bend. In other words, bend a little, compare to the template, bend a little more, compare to the template, and keep going. The edges have a bit of spring back so keep this in mind as you go. If you bend a bit too much, you should be able to revesre it with you hands. If you have any other questions, just ask.
