Snowboard setback and camber dimensions

Post by mmeyran »

I am building up a new snowboard press and designing a bottom mold. Wondering if anyone can give me some guidance on setback and camber height for an all mountain snowboard? On my previous mold I copied the profile of a burton flight attendant and it worked ok. Hoping to fine tune this next one.

TBH, there is no normal. And it varies with board length and so many things. Just start measuring every board you find and get a feel for it. The range is prob 2-8mm from little to a lot for a 155cm ish board.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't been able to find any real discussion on the topic, nor do any manufacturers mention it on their spec sheets. Guessing that the impact on ride is negligible except for the high and low end.
